Segmental South Africa is led by its Managing Director, Vasi Govinder-Padayachy, who holds executive responsibility for the company’s technical standards, client relationships and transformation commitments in South Africa. As Chief Executive Officer of TSL Group South Africa, Vasi brings over 30 years of leadership experience overseeing strategic planning and execution across TSL Group. With a focus on business strategy, negotiation and business process optimisation, she has deep experience in implementing growth strategies and fostering cross-functional collaboration across teams and partners.
Her leadership has earned recognition beyond the group. In 2026 she was honoured as a Global Women Leader for excellence in world-class global leadership, and was named a finalist in the Top Empowered CEO category at the Top Women Empowerment awards.
Vasi graduated with a Bproc from the University of South Africa (UNISA) in 2004 and completed a Master’s degree in public administration in 2017 from University of Liverpool and various other management and leadership courses from University of Cape Town. She is currently pursuing an MBA and a Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) at Swiss International University — a continuing commitment to the governance, strategy and leadership disciplines that inform her executive practice
Anand Pandey
Anand Pandey is Founder & CEO of Segmental LLC, Dubai and brings more than 33 years of international experience in bridge and tunnel engineering. His leadership spans metro, railway, highway and major infrastructure projects, combining deep technical expertise with megaproject delivery.
He has held senior leadership roles across major international engineering organisations and is an alumnus of IIT and IIM.
R K Singh
R K Singh is a Senior Tunnel Expert with more than 33 years of experience in tunnelling and construction. He is a member of the Governing Council of the Tunnelling Association of India and an H-10 Committee member of the Indian Roads Congress. He provides specialist leadership for tunnel construction work.
Kuldeep Choudhary
Kuldeep Choudhary is a Senior Bridge Engineer with more than 9 years of experience across metro, railway and highway projects. His specialist experience includes special bridges and the design of concrete and steel structures.
Sandeep Gupta
Sandeep Gupta is a Senior Bridge Engineer with 10 years of experience across metro, railway and highway projects. A Graduate Member of IStructE, his experience includes High Speed Rail 2 (HS2) in the United Kingdom as well as concrete and steel structures.
Karthik Valliappan
Karthik Valliappan is a tunnel expert with more than 15 years of international experience across metro, rail and highway projects. His experience spans tunnelling, project management consultancy and construction delivery.
